Donate to Bar Harbor's Fireworks Show
The Fourth of July is always one of the busiest days of the year here in Bar Harbor. Our beautiful location on Mount Desert Island and our famous national park coupled with the day’s festivities attract our neighbors and friends, as well as families from around Maine and beyond.
For more than 75 years, the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce has worked closely with local businesses and non-profit organizations to help bring the Fourth of July activities to our community for all to enjoy. Events begin as early as 6 a.m. with a blueberry pancake breakfast and end with our signature fireworks display over Frenchman Bay for a full day of good old-fashioned fun.
These festivities do come at a cost, however, and the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce has a funding goal, for both the parade and the fireworks, of $35,000. We are extremely thankful for the financial support we receive from the Town of Bar Harbor, as well as our major sponsors to make the Independence Day parade and fireworks over Frenchman Bay possible.
We’d love to have this year’s parade and fireworks be the best yet, and keep our title as the #1 Fourth of July celebration in America. Please consider contributing at one of the donor levels listed below or at an amount of your choosing.
