Have you ever wondered where all those delicious lobsters come from and how they go from the ocean to your plate? Join Captain John Nicolai, as he takes you out on the water in his traditional Downeast Lobster boat, Lulu, for a 2 hour tour where he will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about lobster in a fun, family-friendly way. Help us decide who has the best dessert in Bar Harbor.

We will be offering a short seminar on how beer is made, a free tasting of two of our local beers, and answering all your beer-related questions. Come on down to the Margaritas and Lobster Mac and Cheese Social at Side Street Café. Stop by to mingle and enjoy some of Side Street’s most famous menu items. Each guest will receive a small serving of our lobster mac and cheese and a flight of three different margaritas. The event takes place around the bar and includes live music by the Blake Rosso Band. The Waiter Race originated in Italy in the early 1900’s, and has since become a popular international tradition. Come join us as Bar Harbor joins those ranks at the 1st Annual Taste of Bar Harbor Waiter Race. Waiters will compete for an Ultimate Tip cash prize and the bragging rights to being the best Waiter in Bar Harbor! Located at the MDI YMCA parking lot during the Eden Farmer’s Market.
