Schoodic Institute’s Bird Ecology Program invites the public to a special celebratory weekend to honor 2018, the Year of the Bird and celebrate the passage of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the most important bird-protection law ever passed. Conservation organizations worldwide are joining forces to celebrate the “ Year of the Bird” to focus on the act and to commit to protecting birds for the next 100 years. Authors Jeff and Allison Wells will present. Jeffrey V. Wells, Ph.D., is one of the nation’s leading bird experts and conservation biologists.
