Winter Dinner Theater with Storyteller Jude Lamb February 9, 2018 @ 5:30 - 7:30 pm

2/9/2018, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Enjoy dinner and a true Maine winter story! Eunice Lakeman married Luther Hoar in 1799. In 1817 they traveled about 20 miles with their 9 children, on foot, from the Avon area to what is now called Rangeley Lake, in Maine. Not only did they travel over late winter snow, but they climbed as much as 1000 feet in elevation. Along the way they had an adventure they did not plan! (The baby is lost, but no worries,  all ends well!) This story is told to both children and adults alike by Storyteller Jude Lamb!   Schoodic Institute invites the public to this special Acadia Winter Festival event.
