Bar Harbor is serviced by two regional airports, the Hancock County Bar Harbor Airport and the Bangor International Airport. Getting around town is easy with so much to see and do within walking distance. During the summer the Island Explorer bus system offers free transportation around the island and into Acadia National Park.
The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce can assist you in planning a successful and memorable occasion. We can coordinate lodging proposals for you and your attendees and assist you with bids and site inspections. Our services are at no charge to you. The Hulls Cove Schoolhouse, managed by the Hulls Cove Neighborhood Association, built in 1909, has recently been restored and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
