Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park Visitor's Guide
The Visitor's Guide continues to be a valuable marketing tool for Chamber members. Getting information about Bar Harbor and your businesses out to visitors before they have made critical decisions about where they will stay, eat, shop, and the activities they will engage in continues to be the primary objective of the Visitor's Guide. The Guides are distributed in a number of outlets to ensure highest potential exposure. Each year the Chamber distributes over 225,000 guides through direct visitor requests, in State of Maine Visitor's Centers, paid distribution in the Boston, New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Coastal Connecticut metro areas along with bulk distribution to AAA travel agencies, and countless visitors in the Acadia Welcome Center in Trenton. The Chamber also increased the number of copies distributed downtown through the new downtown information office located on the corner of Cottage and Main Street. Of course thousands of additional copies are put into circulation with the help of your businesses.
